Summer School Photogs 2011

Ok, mid-new years resolution...blog update every week, promise. So lets get caught up, and start with school photogs! I wish I had gotten these up sooner because the lil' man is just changing so much! What can I say, my nugs melt my heart. After viewing the pictures below you might be asking why Elle gets a solo shot, and Eli doesn't...well, #1, I'd have to get a side job at Home Depot to afford to purchase every single one of the kids pictures. The photographer is obviously very proud of their work (which they should be), and charges an arm and leg for prints. #2, Kris was none too pleased with the smocked ants at a picnic outfit I put his bouncing baby boy in, that in addition to the fact that Eli is positioned next to a waggon and bear might have put Kris over the edge. But lets get serious, it's freakin' adorable, and I feel that there is an age limit on smocked outfits on boys, so when in Rome! So there you have it!

So what's new with us. Eli is mobile, stands unasisted, loves reapeating the words "Da Da" and "Ma Ma", knows to wave with "Hi" and "Bye Bye", loves to clap (who doesn't), furniture surfs, loves scooting after his sister, and especially her toys...he eats like a champ, and his little laugh and the way he communicates cracks me up! He has such a wonderful disposition, and is just a little snuggler.

Elle is fabulous, she is incredibly independent, but still loves her snuggle time too. She is very into dress up, loves daily dance parties to Kiss FM, loves to sing along with the radio, reading books, slumber parties, movie nights, loves all water and outdoor activies, helping around the house, and absolutely adores playing with her friends. She loves loves loves her baby brother (except for certain moments when he comes after her dolls), and she is such a wonderful entertaining big sister!

That's really us in a nutshell these days, staying busy and spending every free moment we can with the kiddos. Hope you all had a wonderful 4th. Happy birthday Merica!
